Cancer.gov states, “Cancer is the name given to a collection of related diseases. In all types of cancer, some of the body’s cells begin to divide without stopping and spread into surrounding tissues.”

Diabetes

The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases advise that “Diabetes is a complex group of diseases with a variety of causes. People with diabetes have high blood glucose, also called high blood sugar or hyperglycemia.”

The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, states “Smoking affects the entire body, increasing the risk of many life-threatening diseases—including lung cancer, emphysema, and heart disease.”
